Terms of Use

1. The service and these terms

Kate (trykate.app) is owned and operated by ANDREOU INNOVATIONS LTD, registration number ΗΕ 482315, based in Nicosia, Cyprus. References to “we” or “the provider” mean this company.

Kate provides tools to create and host simple business websites with pages, platform widgets and optional AI assistance. These terms govern the platform, not the separate terms your business may need for its visitors.

Before ordering a paid service, you must receive the legal provider’s identity and confirmation of the service, term and total price. Provider details appear at the end of this page.

2. Accounts and security

You must be at least 18, legally able to enter a contract and authorised to act for any business you represent. Provide accurate details, secure your account and promptly report unauthorised access. The service is primarily intended for business use.

Complete Business & Brand before creating a website. Its saved details are used in AI requests. You are responsible for their accuracy and for having the right to use them.

3. Seven-day free trial

Your free trial lasts 7 consecutive days from the original account registration. Logging in again, creating another site or changing the brand does not restart it. Signup does not require payment or authorise an automatic charge.

New accounts can normally build, preview and publish during the trial. Any different policy is shown in your account. At expiry, without confirmed paid access, the public website and contact forms stop working, along with editing, AI and uploads. Saved drafts remain viewable. Expiry does not automatically delete data.

4. Pricing and annual access

The setup fee is €200 once and annual access is €300. The first payment is €500, covering setup and the first year. Subsequent annual renewals are €300, without another setup fee. There is no monthly plan.

Activation and expiry dates are confirmed when you order. Applicable taxes, domain registration/renewal and separately agreed extras are separate and must be disclosed before payment. Price changes apply to future orders or renewals, not retrospectively to an already paid term.

5. Payment, renewal and cancellation

When payments are configured, Subscription opens secure Stripe checkout. The paid annual term starts with confirmed payment, even if trial days remain. Signup does not require a card and free-trial expiry does not automatically charge you. Buying an annual subscription authorises subsequent automatic €300 annual renewals until cancelled. Confirm the total and applicable taxes at checkout.

Manage your card, invoices and cancellation in Subscription → Stripe management, or contact us. Cancelling renewal keeps access until the end of the confirmed paid term. Failed or pending payments do not extend access. Unless agreed otherwise or required by law, non-renewal does not create a pro-rata refund of an already paid term. A full refund or payment dispute may pause access for review. Statutory refund and remedy rights remain unaffected.

6. Team-assisted website creation

We can help or build your website for you. Contact +357 94624378 or team@trykate.app. Scope, revisions, timing and any additional fee are agreed before work begins. The setup fee does not promise unlimited human services or custom programming.

7. Your content and rights

You retain the rights you hold in supplied text, images and logos. You allow us to store, process and display them to provide, secure and support the service, including sending relevant material to an AI provider when you request generation. We do not acquire your trademarks or an unrestricted advertising licence.

Obtain the necessary permissions and lawful basis for personal data, third-party images and business claims. Before publishing, check contacts, services, photographs, legal notices and third-party rights. The platform and its software remain the provider’s or its licensors’ property.

8. AI drafts and usage limits

AI uses the latest saved brand and current draft to produce content with supported widgets. The current builder regenerates the homepage, keeps other pages and applies brand contacts/colours. It does not guarantee a precise one-field change, factual accuracy, uniqueness or exclusive intellectual-property rights in output.

AI generation itself does not publish your website. Optional generated images are stored when created. Review before applying and saving: saving edits to an already published website can update its public content. Supported manual edits are available while access is active; AI generations have usage limits and are not offered as unlimited or unrestricted.

9. Acceptable use

Do not use the service for illegal content, fraud, impersonation, rights infringement, malicious code, spam or unauthorised access. Do not bypass trials, AI limits or access controls. Do not use the platform as a repository for sensitive records, payment-card information, passwords or customers’ health data.

10. Domains and public publishing

Custom domains require active access, the right to use the domain, ownership verification and correct DNS settings. You manage registration and renewal with your registrar. DNS and certificates can take time; immediate activation and support for every registrar configuration are not guaranteed.

Published content and image URLs are public. Hiding a page from navigation or search indexing is not access protection. Subscription expiry or a brand update does not automatically revoke images, third-party copies or search-engine results.

11. Availability and support

Maintenance and security/product changes may be necessary. Support is available through the stated contact details, without a guaranteed response time or SLA unless agreed in writing. We do not promise particular sales, Google rankings, uninterrupted availability or booking/ecommerce features that are not part of the product.

12. Suspension and account closure

Access may be restricted for serious breaches, security risks, illegal content or expiry of access. Where feasible and lawful, we explain the issue and allow an opportunity to resolve it; urgent suspension may be needed to protect others. Request account closure or a copy of your data by email. Retention and deletion are explained in the Privacy Policy.

13. Consumer rights and withdrawal

If you act as a consumer and distance-contract rules apply, you may have a 14-day withdrawal right from conclusion of the relevant contract, subject to statutory exceptions. The seven-day free trial does not shorten or replace that right, and the setup fee is not automatically non-refundable.

Starting a service early requires the legally necessary information and express request where applicable; it does not by itself remove withdrawal rights. Proportionate charges or loss of a right apply only where legal conditions are met. To withdraw, email a clear statement with your name, account email and order date; no particular template is required.

14. Liability and mandatory rights

You are responsible for checking and lawfully using your own content. Our liability is determined under applicable law; non-excludable liability, fraud or deliberate misconduct, and mandatory consumer remedies for deficient services are not waived. AI or availability statements are not a blanket exclusion of those rights.

15. Changes and resolving issues

Each version is dated. Material changes will be communicated before taking effect where required and do not retrospectively remove agreed rights. Contact the team first to seek a resolution. Governing law and jurisdiction follow applicable rules, without excluding mandatory protections or a consumer’s competent courts.
